What they say...

"In the four years we've had Micah, we've never seen his feet look this good. Micah is turning better and even I can tell he's moving much more comfortably than before."

"Rebecca is an artisan with the horse's hoof...she sees balance, symmetry, and looks at the whole horse in movement."

Important Notes

Maximize the Benefits of Your Appointment

A clean, dry, flat area is required for optimum results. Areas to walk and trot your horse in a straight line and circle is helpful for determining balance and lameness. Removing excess dirt, mud, and hair is greatly appreciated.

Payment Options

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, money orders, personal/business checks and PayPal (rebecca@NaturesPathHoof.com). Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee, and future payments will be required in the form of cash, money order, or PayPal. Please make checks payable to Nature's Path.

Canceling/Rescheduling Appointments

Appointments canceled or rescheduled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. If I am not notified of a cancellation, the full amount of the scheduled services will be due. Keep in mind that rescheduling may have a wait time of 3-4 weeks.

Suggested Service Intervals

My desire is for your horses to be as healthy and sound as possible. Keeping a regular hoof care schedule throughout the year is important for hoof health. An inconsistent hoof care schedule is detrimental to the overall health and soundness of your horses. Overgrown hooves can cause injuries, abscesses, are uncomfortable to stand on, and are more difficult to trim. Suggested seasonal intervals are 4-6 weeks from March-October, and 6-8 weeks from November-February (this may vary based on individual needs). Appointments scheduled more than 8 weeks apart will be subject to “Setup Trim” fees as described above.

Fractious or Untrained Horses

In order to provide the best service possible, it is important for your equine to be trained to cooperate for hoof care procedures. Training services that educate both horse and owner are available for $50/hour. One to three sessions are usually enough to ensure a safe hoof care experience. Please notify me in advance if training is needed at your appointment.

Please contact me with any questions and I'll be happy to help you in any way I can. Email consultations are also available.
